GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before using Monoslow’s services. By using the restaurant’s services, you (as a guest) agree to the following terms and conditions.
Introduction
Monoslow’s services are governed by these Terms and Conditions. By using the restaurant’s services, you acknowledge that the restaurant and its staff are entitled to enforce the following rules, and you agree to these terms when using the services. Please respect both the dining rules and the restaurant’s house rules when visiting the restaurant.
Our Services
Monoslow offers the following services to its guests:
Dine-in: The restaurant serves meals to guests on-site. Orders can be placed from the menu, the daily specials, or with the assistance of the staff.
Takeout: The restaurant offers takeout meals, which can be ordered on-site. We provide the food in appropriate packaging; any additional costs for this packaging are the guest’s responsibility.
Events: The restaurant also provides a venue for events such as wine tastings, wine dinners, live music evenings, corporate events, birthdays, and celebrations. Reservations must be made in advance online at www.monoslow.hu , at the restaurant, or by phone.
Ordering and Payment
Ordering in person: Orders are placed in person with the server based on the menu. After the order is placed, the restaurant will confirm it, and the guest is required to pay the total amount at the end of the meal using one of the payment methods listed in Section 3.3.
Payment methods: Cash, credit card (Visa, Mastercard).
Advance Payment: For larger groups or events, the restaurant reserves the right to request an advance payment, which may be made via bank transfer in addition to the payment methods mentioned above.
Reservations and Cancellations
4.1 Table Reservations
The restaurant offers table reservations. Reservations can be made by phone.
The restaurant will confirm the reservation by phone.
Guests are required to arrive at the exact time of their reservation. If a guest expects to be late, they must notify the restaurant to ensure their table is held. If the guest fails to notify the restaurant, we can hold the reservation for 30 minutes; after 30 minutes, the reservation is automatically canceled, and in this case, we may not be able to provide another table.
4.2 Cancellation of a reservation
For larger group reservations (10 or more people), the restaurant may require a deposit, which is non-refundable if the reservation is canceled within 24 hours.
Takeout meals
5.1 Packaging
The restaurant provides appropriate packaging for takeout, which ensures the freshness and quality of the food. It is the guest’s responsibility to store the food properly and consume it in a timely manner.
5.2 Liability for Delivery
The restaurant is responsible for the condition of the food until it leaves the restaurant. Once the food has been picked up, the customer is responsible for its proper storage and consumption.
The restaurant assumes no responsibility for any deterioration in the condition of the order during delivery if the food is not stored at the proper temperature.
Compensation and Liability
6.1 Damages
The restaurant assumes no liability for damage to, loss of, or theft of guests’ personal belongings.
The restaurant guarantees the quality of its food and ensures that every order is prepared using the freshest and highest-quality ingredients available.
6.2 Food Allergies and Intolerances
The restaurant lists the ingredients for every dish and takes food allergies into consideration. Please notify us of any allergies, food intolerances, or special dietary requests in advance when placing your order.
The restaurant strives to accommodate all dietary needs but does not assume full responsibility for any issues arising from potential cross-allergies.
In the event of an allergic reaction as described above, restaurant staff are required to do everything possible to provide professional care for the guest (primarily by calling an ambulance).
Rules of Conduct
7.1 Guest Conduct
The restaurant reserves the right to remove any guest who disturbs other guests or staff, or who fails to comply with the restaurant’s house rules.
Guests are required to respect the restaurant staff and other guests, and to behave in a manner that is neither disruptive nor uncivilized.
7.2 Smoking
Smoking is permitted in the restaurant only in designated areas. Smoking is prohibited in non-smoking areas.
Privacy Policy
The restaurant respects the privacy of its guests and processes their personal data in accordance with the GDPR. The restaurant’s privacy policy is available on its website and explains what data we collect and how we process it.
Changes and Notifications
9.1 Amendment of the General Terms and Conditions
The restaurant reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The amended Terms and Conditions shall become effective upon their publication on the website.
9.2 Notifications
The restaurant posts all important information and updates on its website and social media platforms.

General Terms and Conditions for Accommodation Services (GTC)
Effective: August 1, 2025
1. Introduction and Basic Principles
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) govern the legal relationship between Monoslow (hereinafter: Host) and the Guest using the accommodation services (hereinafter: Guest).
By using the accommodation services, the Guest accepts these terms and conditions, which are binding on all Guests of the accommodation.
2. Services
2.1 Rooms and Services
Room types: Mini, Classic, Superior.
The room rate includes:
- Breakfast: daily from 8:00 to 10:00
- Free Wi-Fi and parking
- Final cleaning upon departure
Room amenities: air conditioning, heating, wardrobe/closet, private bathroom, hair dryer, cable TV, flat-screen TV, free in-room Wi-Fi, towels and linens provided, bathroom amenities (shampoo, body wash)
Additional services available:
- Restaurant: Available for an additional fee. Our restaurant is open Wednesday through Saturday from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The kitchen closes 30 minutes before closing time.
- Extra cleaning is available for an additional fee: 5,000 HUF per room per session.
- Ironing service is available for an additional fee: 2,000 HUF per item.
- Programs and wine tastings: available by special arrangement.
2.2 House Rules
Smoking: permitted only in designated areas. Strictly prohibited in the rooms.
Quiet hours: Please ensure quiet between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
Safety: The Guest is fully responsible for the safety of themselves and their companions. The Host is not liable for accidents resulting from the Guest’s negligence.
3. Booking and Payment
3.1 Booking Process
Reservations can be made in person, by phone, by email, or online.
The reservation becomes valid once the guest pays the full room rate in advance by credit card, bank transfer, or SZÉP card.
3.2 Payment Terms
The full room rate must be paid in advance at the time of booking.
The local tourist tax (300 HUF per person per night for guests over 18 years of age) is payable upon arrival, on-site, in cash or by credit card.
The room rate includes 5% VAT.
3.3 Cancellation Policy
In the case of a refundable price:
- Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival.
- In the event of cancellation or no-show within 7 days, the room rate paid is non-refundable.
For non-refundable rates:
The full room rate is due at the time of booking; no refunds will be issued in the event of cancellation.
Changes: Changes are possible only with the Accommodation Provider’s written confirmation and subject to availability.
The Service Provider’s Right to Terminate
The Service Provider (the guesthouse operator) reserves the right to cancel a reservation that has already been confirmed by the guest at any time and without giving a reason.
In such cases, the Service Provider is obligated to notify the guest immediately and to refund the advance payment or the full accommodation fee already paid by the guest in full, or—with the guest’s consent—to offer an alternative date for the stay.
The Service Provider may exercise this right, in particular, but not exclusively, in the following cases:
- technical malfunction (e.g., a burst pipe, a heating or power supply problem),
- force majeure event (e.g., natural disaster, utility failure, government restriction),
- any unforeseeable circumstance that prevents or jeopardizes the proper use of the accommodation.
In the event of such a cancellation by the Service Provider, the guest is not entitled to any further compensation or penalty; the Service Provider’s liability is limited to refunding the amounts paid or offering an alternative date.
4. Check-in and Check-out
Check-in: between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM on the day of arrival.
Please notify us in advance of any late arrivals.
A late arrival fee of 5,000 HUF will be charged for arrivals after 6:00 PM, unless the Guest notifies the Host in advance of a minor delay and the Host accepts this in writing.
Reception hours: normally until 6:00 PM.
Check-out: by 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
A surcharge may be applied for late check-out.
5. Liability
The Host ensures that the accommodation is fit for its intended use.
The Guest is liable for any damage caused by them and is obligated to compensate for such damage.
The Guest is solely responsible for their own valuables; the Host assumes no liability for them.
6. Data Processing
The Host processes the Guest’s personal data solely for the purpose of processing the reservation and providing the service, in accordance with the privacy policy available on the accommodation’s website.
7. Code of Conduct
The Guest is required to observe the rules of civilized coexistence.
The Host has the right to remove the Guest from the accommodation if the Guest’s behavior disturbs the peace of other Guests or violates the house rules.
8. Complaint Handling and Legal Remedies
Complaints may be submitted in writing via the following contact information:

We will respond to complaints in writing within 30 days.
If the complaint is not resolved, the Guest is entitled to contact the competent local consumer protection authority, conciliation board, or court.
